Not A Citizen is Cristobal Jimenez Van Cauwelaert's brainchild - a multi-instrumentalist and
producer.
The project evolved from bedroom beat making to becoming a full live band after moving to London in 2014. The sound that defines Not A Citizen is a daring mix of sampled hip hop drum breaks, jazz chords and Latin guitars, along with psychedelic vocals.
